Welfare Fraud

A few months ago, I learned that I was approved for SNAP some time back, but never received my EBT card. So, the benefits kept accruing, unused. Yesterday, I had a balance in excess of $800 on the card. I use the money to feed myself, because my estranged wife has destroyed my career/had me fired for calling the police on her.

I went to buy some Clif bars at the corner store earlier today, only to have the card decline. This morning, all that money disappeared: obliterated in 2 transactions, made 7 minutes apart at two businesses in Chicago, a minimum 20 minutes away from each other. I haven’t been outside New York State in months.

The monthly SNAP benefit for 1 person is $291. You’re telling me there are scammers running cards for $306.93 and $499.63? Buying that quantity of groceries at 5 in the morning? Moreover, how did these “scammers” know almost exactly how much money was on the card?? There are NO other “declined” transactions.

I looked up 16842 Lathrop Avenue in Harvey, IL, and it’s a deserted field.

In case you’re wondering, stolen SNAP benefits are, for whatever reason, ineligible for replacement. That decision was made in the final hours of the utterly-worthless Biden Administration.

I’m less inclined to think this is a scam, and more so convinced that my Deep State lover and her federal cronies at Precision Painting Plus are trying to destroy me, as when they recently canceled my MetroCard.

G-d have mercy.
